Hello there! My name is Emma, and I am a 22 year old from Derbyshire in the East Midlands, England.
This is my personal blog, which includes beauty, fashion, baking, food and just general snippets from my every day life.
I live with my Mum and dog in a small village in the middle of the countryside. Surrounded by only a hundred odd houses and fields it can feel a bit lonely at times, but I do love it, I love the quietness and relaxed feeling that it brings, rather that the hustle bustle of a city. I'm definitely a country girl at heart.
In my spare time I love going out with my family, my boyfriend and my friends. I also love making new friends, I'm easy to get along with and love to have a laugh.
I also love football! I love following my team up and down the country every week. I cannot describe the feeling football gives me. A lot of people say that "It is a waste of time and money", which when you've travelled for 4 hours in a cramped up mini bus to sit in the freezing cold and wet, away at Brighton on a Tuesday night, losing 2-0 and looking like hope has gone, then realise you've got a 4 hour journey back home, then yes I agree to some extent. But I still keep going back for more, and so do 30k odd other people! It's like an addiction but there's no cure. With the bad times comes the good, getting bragging rights over your local rivals by winning them 3 times in a row, there's no way to describe it , it sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it. I could sit hear and write word upon word about football, it's like a second relationship to me. I found this picture and it kind of sums up the raw emotion involved supporting a football team. After all it's "Not just a game".
Along with football, I am also an absolute beauty junkie. I love all things make up, skin care, and perfume/scents related, and enjoy trying out the 'what's new' and the new trends.
I've started making my own cupcakes, I've not been doing them long but have got a real passion for making them. Not sure where it has come from but hey ho. I love trying out new flavours, and designing themed cupcakes. I also enjoy the art of sugarcraft. I have self taught myself what I know, so it may not be the correct way of doing things, but it works for me.
I also enjoy cooking, I'll have a go at everything and anything once.
